From March 29th to 31st, organized by the Guizhou Provincial Fire and Rescue Corps, "Call of Duty · Battle of Wumeng" The 2021 cross-regional earthquake rescue practical exercise was held in Weining County, Bijie City, in the Wumeng Mountain area of Guizhou Province. As the communication support unit for this exercise, Far East Communications actively dispatched personnel and equipment to provide full support for the three-day and two-night exercise.

This exercise simulated a magnitude 7 earthquake in Weining County, Bijie City, with severe damage to buildings in the epicenter and a large number of people trapped. Guizhou Fire dispatched 2 heavy rescue teams, 7 light rescue teams, and 1 mobile rescue team, with nearly 1,000 firefighters quickly carrying out rescue operations. The exercise used an air, land, and rail three-dimensional approach for the first time to deliver forces, It is the largest cross-regional earthquake rescue exercise in the history of Guizhou Fire.

Due to the large number of participants, complex assessment subjects, and wide coverage area, the communication support task was extremely arduous.
