Time flies, and it's the end of the year again. In the last month of each year, subway lines in major cities will be opened in a concentrated manner, and 2020 is no exception. As one of the most important subway communication system integrators and overall solution providers in China, in December, Far East Communications participated in and successfully ensured the opening and operation of 19 subway lines in 12 cities including Chengdu, Ningbo, Xi'an, and Hangzhou, delivering a satisfactory result for users.

December 18, Chengdu Metro Line 6, phases 1, 2, and 3

The Chengdu Rail Transit Line 6 phases 1, 2, and 3 project runs through the north-south main axis of the main city, with a total length of about 68.8km and a total of 56 stations. It is the longest subway line with the most stations opened at one time in the country. After the opening of phases 1, 2, and 3 of Line 6, the operating mileage of Chengdu's rail transit will increase to 558 kilometers, ranking fourth among cities in China in terms of urban rail transit.

As a communication system integrator, Far East Communications undertook the construction of a total of 18 subsystems for Chengdu Metro Line 6 phases 1, 2, and 3, including dedicated communication and public security communication. These include dedicated telephone systems, Tetra secondary development systems, and centralized alarm systems, all of which were independently developed by Far East Communications.
December 23, Ningbo Metro Line 4

Ningbo Metro Line 4 is approximately 35.95 kilometers long with 25 stations, making it the longest metro line opened at once in Ningbo. After its operation, Line 4 will connect important transportation hubs such as Zhuangqiao Railway Station, Ningbo Railway Station, Ningbo East Railway Station, and Dongqian Lake Tourism Transportation Center, as well as important urban functional areas such as Cicheng, Olympic Sports Center, Sanjiangkou, and Dongqian Lake New Town. This will greatly optimize the transportation network in the surrounding areas, effectively promoting convenient travel for citizens, improving the quality of urban construction, and modernizing urban functions.

As the dedicated communication system integrator for Ningbo Metro Line 4, Far East Communications undertook the construction of 10 subsystems, including transmission, dedicated telephones, and broadcasting. These include public telephone systems, dedicated telephone systems, LTE secondary development systems, and centralized alarm systems, all of which were independently developed by Far East Communications.
December 28, Xi'an Metro Line 5

Xi'an Metro Line 5 is the second east-west main line in Xi'an's rail transit network, with a total length of 45.3 kilometers and 34 stations. The completion of Line 5 will further expand the city's framework, closely connecting the Xi'an-咸阳 New Area with the main urban area of Xi'an. This will provide strong support for the gathering of emerging industries in the Xi'an-咸阳 New Area, playing a positive role in promoting high-quality development and accelerating the integration of Xi'an and 咸阳.

These include public telephone systems, dedicated telephone systems, Tetra secondary development systems, and centralized alarm systems, all of which were independently developed by Far East Communications.
December 30, Four Hangzhou Metro Lines Opened Simultaneously

Hangzhou Metro Lines 6, Hangfu Line, 7, and Phase 3 of Line 1 are among Hangzhou's landmark projects and key projects for the Asian Games. They connect multiple transportation hubs, including Xiaoshan International Airport, Hangzhou East Station, Hangzhou Station, Hangzhou Passenger Transport Center, and Fuyang Passenger Transport Center, enabling seamless transfers between air, high-speed rail, and long-distance buses. This further optimizes Hangzhou's urban transportation network and provides strong transportation support for the successful holding of the 2022 Asian Games.

Far East Communications had the honor of being a participant in the construction of the communication systems for Hangzhou Metro Lines 6, Hangfu Line, 7, and Phase 3 of Line 1, providing comprehensive solutions for dedicated communication systems and public security communication systems. These include public telephone systems, dedicated telephone systems, Tetra secondary development systems, and recording systems, all of which were independently developed by Far East Communications.
With the opening of the four Hangzhou lines, Far East Communications has successfully completed its 2020 metro communication project delivery tasks.
