But behind the quiet and waiting, there is a group of people going against the flow, including medical staff, public security officers, and ordinary people from all walks of life who maintain people's livelihood. Rapid Response, Assisting in Epidemic Investigation and Control

It was still the Intelligent Information Verification Platform project team, still this group of "reverse travelers." At the beginning of 2020, when the epidemic first broke out, the project team members quickly responded, rushing to the scene on the second day of the Lunar New Year, upgrading software functions overnight to assist the front line in fighting the epidemic.

On January 3, 2021, shortly after Shijiazhuang reported its first confirmed case, Zhang Yongchao, the project manager, received an urgent call from the Hebei Provincial Public Security Department, requesting an upgrade to relevant platform function modules for epidemic prevention and control work. With the epidemic at hand, there was no time to waste. Zhang Yongchao organized personnel to rush to the provincial department's front line, while Zhu Zixuan and Geng Ziteng set up the environment in the company and immediately started research and development work, finally completing the upgrade of all new function modules at 4 am on January 4, as required.

In the following days, the project team members worked late into the night every day. Relying on the powerful performance and expandable access capabilities of the system platform, they assisted Shijiazhuang's Gaocheng and Xingtai's Nangong in connecting mobile police information to relevant systems, supporting epidemic prevention and control checks at various levels of security checkpoints in Hebei Province and in medium- and high-risk epidemic areas, playing a positive role in the province's epidemic control.

On January 6, while Shijiazhuang pressed the pause button across the city, project team member Wei Beichen followed the user personnel north to concentrate on developing new epidemic prevention and control function modules in a closed environment.

In the next few days, the project team will face greater challenges, but being able to contribute to epidemic prevention and control is the mission and glory of Far East Communications people. Fighting the epidemic, Far East Communications is in action!

Full Support to Ensure Emergency Communication Dispatch

After the outbreak, the Hebei Provincial Emergency Management Department Command Center immediately launched an emergency response. According to the requirements, all project maintenance personnel stopped shift work, and personnel were placed under closed management at the Emergency Management Department to ensure emergency command and dispatch work.

Wang Lin, an employee of Far East Communications responsible for maintaining the Hebei Provincial Emergency Management Department project, rushed to the project site late at night on January 5 after receiving the notice, and together with two other colleagues from the project department, quickly engaged in the tense and orderly support work. On January 6, they supported multiple emergency video dispatch meetings at various levels, ensuring the normal operation of various business systems in the command center, and contributing Far East Communications' strength to emergency dispatch during the epidemic in Hebei Province.
Currently, the three people are still persevering at the project site.

Safety Commitment: All Staff Undergo Nucleic Acid Testing

From January 5th, Far East Communications actively organized nucleic acid testing for employees both inside and outside Shijiazhuang, ensuring employee health and being responsible to others, putting users at ease.

Rear-End Service: Stable Operation of Online Offices

While frontline employees are working hard, the people of Far East Communications at the headquarters are also in action. After the outbreak, the company's epidemic prevention and control service team was immediately formed.

In the all-staff nucleic acid testing on January 5th, the epidemic prevention and control service team worked together in a coordinated manner. The Human Resources Department compiled a list of registered personnel, the Safety Management Office was responsible for arranging the site and recording the information of participants, and the Comprehensive Management Department was responsible for notifying employees of the testing and guiding the flow. The entire testing process was efficient and orderly.

On January 6th, epidemic control was upgraded, and the Far East Communications headquarters work area and living area were placed under complete closed management. The epidemic prevention and control service team took further action, actively coordinating to solve the dining problem for employees in collective dormitories. Three members on duty in the work area were responsible for ensuring the stable operation of the company's internal testing equipment, turning off unnecessary electrical equipment, collecting and sorting out equipment and electronic documents urgently needed by employees, and delivering them to ensure the normal operation of everyone's online office.
