On May 14, the Smart Highway Industry Development Trend Forum was held at Far East Communications. The forum was hosted by Hebei Provincial Intelligent Transportation Association and Seven Transportation Network, and co-organized by Far East Communications. As a key infrastructure of the country, highways are an important channel supporting the smooth operation of the industrial chain and supply chain, and ensuring the development of the national economy. In the context of the rapid development of informationization and intelligence, smart highways have become one of the important measures for the development of a "strong transportation country" in the new era. In recent years, relevant units such as the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Science and Technology have successively issued a series of policy documents, providing strong policy support for the construction of smart highways.
At the forum, many industry experts conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on aspects such as technological innovation, application practices, and policy environment of smart highways.

As the co-organizer of the forum, Far East Communications, based on its rich experience in transportation and emergency industries, delivered a keynote speech on "Digital Solution for Highway Transportation Emergency Response".

Far East Communications has been committed to contributing to the emergency response and safety assurance of highway transportation through technological innovation and practical application. In April 2024, Far East Communications, together with Hebei Expressway Group Beijing-Shanghai Branch and other units, jointly established the Hebei Expressway Group In-service Trunk Highway Safety Emergency Command and Rapid Rescue Innovation Center. Subsequently, all parties will closely focus on "Building a smart road network for safe emergency command and rapid rescue, comprehensively improving risk prevention and emergency maintenance capabilities" to carry out scientific research and innovation cooperation.

The holding of this forum has provided a platform for in-depth exchanges among industry colleagues, and has also injected new impetus into the future development of Far East Communications in the expressway industry.
