Emergency Mission 2024 | Always Ready, Protecting Every Year

【概要描述】On the morning of May 10, the Office of the National Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters, the Ministry of Emergency Management, and the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government jointly held a joint exercise on preventing super typhoons and rescuing major flood disasters in Jinhua, Zhejiang and other places, with the code name "Emergency Mission 2024".

 Emergency Mission 2024

On the morning of May 10, the National Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters Office, the Ministry of Emergency Management, and the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government jointly held a joint rescue exercise for super typhoons and major flood disasters in Jinhua, Zhejiang and other places, codenamed "Emergency Mission 2024". As the construction unit of the Ministry of Emergency Management's 370MHz emergency command narrowband wireless communication network and the communication support unit for this exercise, Far East Communications provided strong communication support for the Ministry of Emergency Management, the Wing Loong UAV, and the exercise venue.

 Emergency Mission 2024

This exercise adhered to a problem-oriented and practical approach, simulating a scenario where the super typhoon "Haishen" made landfall in Zhejiang, causing multiple disasters in Hangzhou, Ningbo, Jinhua and other places, and various departments jointly carrying out rescue operations. The exercise arranged 35 subjects, with the input of professional and social emergency forces approximately 8,000 people, fully testing the system emergency, elite emergency, and grassroots emergency capabilities, promoting the implementation of emergency preparedness, and comprehensively improving the level of disaster prevention, mitigation, and relief.

 Emergency Mission 2024

In response to the characteristics of the exercise scenario and the requirements of the subjects, Far East Communications immediately established the "Emergency Mission 2024" working team, formulated a detailed communication support plan, arranged professional technicians to inspect and maintain all online equipment responsible for support, and established a daily reporting mechanism, ensuring that the entire exercise was "clear, loud, and controllable," fully supporting front-line and rear-line command and dispatch, and the transmission of instructions.

During the exercise, the Wing Loong-2H emergency rescue UAV equipped with Far East Communications' 370MHz PDT airborne base station undertook disaster reconnaissance and communication support tasks. With the support of the PDT airborne base station, the UAV can quickly build a 15,000-square-kilometer emergency command narrowband wireless communication network, opening up the "lifeline" of emergency rescue under "three-cut" conditions. At the same time, real-time communication with the Ministry of Emergency Management can be established through the satellite communication link, realizing seamless command and dispatch between the front and rear.

 Emergency Mission 2024

Far East Communications' 370MHz PDT airborne base station is a cluster base station specially developed for airborne installation environments, with small size, light weight, and high sensitivity and other characteristics, especially special design for electromagnetic anti-interference and environmental adaptability, it can operate stably during high-speed movement, fully meeting the index requirements of airborne emergency UAV payloads.

At the same time, as an important unit in the compilation of standards and specifications for emergency command wireless broadband self-organizing networks, Far East Communications cooperated with the Ministry of Emergency Management to complete the interoperability test of broadband self-organizing network equipment from different brands during this exercise, and fully verified the application scenarios of broadband self-organizing networks, laying a good foundation for the subsequent release of standards and specifications.

As a leading manufacturer and solution provider of emergency communication equipment in the industry, Far East Communications has participated in many national emergency rescue communication support tasks. This exercise is another successful support practice following the "Emergency Mission 2021," "Emergency Mission 2022," and "Emergency Mission 2023" exercises, accumulating valuable practical experience for subsequent emergency communication support work.

 Emergency Mission 2024
In the future, Far East Communications will continue to cultivate the emergency industry, driven by practical applications, user needs, and technological innovation, to create more diversified emergency communication products and solutions for the digital age for users, and contribute to the modernization of the national emergency management system and capabilities.
