March 25, Hebei Provincial Engineering Research Center for Private Network Communication Equipment and Technology (hereinafter referred to as: Provincial Engineering Research Center) Technical Committee Meeting Held at Far East Communications, attended by committee experts, leaders from the Hebei Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Shijiazhuang Municipal Development and Reform Commission, Far East Communications, and Hebei University.

Attending experts included the director of the Provincial Engineering Research Center's Technical Committee and the director of the Science and Technology Management Department of the Hebei Academy of Sciences Zhao Hongfang Dean of Haitang No. 1 Academy, Xi'an University of Electronic Science and Technology Cheng Wenchi Professor, Hebei University of Science and Technology Wang Zhenzhou Deputy Director of the General Engineer's Office, Shijiazhuang Rail Transit Group Co., Ltd. Li Yang Associate Professor, School of Telecommunications Engineering, Hebei University Liu Xin etc.

Li Junjun, director of the Provincial Engineering Research Center and president of Far East Communications welcomed the attending experts and leaders, expressed gratitude for their support, and hoped that everyone would offer valuable opinions and suggestions to jointly build a new ecosystem for the private network communication industry.  

Technical committee experts and provincial and municipal leaders listened to the work report of the Provincial Engineering Research Center and thematic reports on various research directions, fully affirmed the research and operational management work of the Provincial Engineering Research Center, and based on the current construction status and the current development trend of private network communication provided guiding opinions and suggestions on the center's future construction layout and development planning.

As the construction unit of the Provincial Engineering Research Center, Far East Communications and Hebei University will carefully summarize and absorb the suggestions of experts and leaders, build and utilize the platform of the Provincial Engineering Research Center, play the role of innovation organizer, and comprehensively improve the ability of technology demand traction, resource allocation, and transformation and application, promote the coordinated development of the private network communication industry, and contribute to building a Hebei scenario of Chinese-style modernization.

After the meeting, Li Junjun presented appointment letters to the experts of the Technical Committee.

Background of the Provincial Engineering Research Center Construction
 

In January 2022, the Hebei Provincial Development and Reform Commission officially approved the joint construction of the Hebei Provincial Engineering Research Center for Private Network Communication Equipment and Technology by Hebei Far East Communication System Engineering Co., Ltd. and Hebei University. This center is an important part of Hebei Province's innovation system, conducting key technological research and experimental research for major strategic tasks and key engineering construction needs in the province, and conducting market-oriented research with important application value engineering and system integration of scientific and technological achievements.

Provincial Engineering Research Center Settings Three main research directions: special wireless communication equipment and technology, multimedia converged communication equipment and technology, and industry command and dispatch application technology aiming to promote the development of private network communication products towards high-end, intelligent, standardized, serialized, and integrated development, promote the transformation of achievements, open up the industrial chain, form an industrial agglomeration effect in the province, and enhance Hebei Province's leading position in the private network communication industry.
