On January 20, 2025, Far East Communications held its 2025 annual work conference and commendation ceremony. The meeting comprehensively summarized the work of 2024, analyzed the current situation, and deployed key tasks for 2025. Outstanding collectives and individuals from the past year were also commended.

Zhou Zhongguo, Deputy General Manager of China Electronics Network Communications and Party Secretary and Chairman of Putian Technology; Shen Wenming, Deputy Party Secretary and President of Putian Technology; some functional department leaders from China Electronics Network Communications; Putian Technology leaders; and Far East Communications directors provided guidance at the meeting. Far East Communications' management team, middle-level cadres, award-winning employee representatives, party, labor union, and league representatives, and employees from various departments participated in the meeting through on-site and video conferencing.

At the meeting, Ma Fei, Special Assistant to China Electronics Network Communications and Party Secretary and Chairman of Far East Communications, delivered a work report entitled "Facing Challenges, Maintaining Confidence, and Achieving New Breakthroughs in High-Quality Development." The report reviewed the company's development in 2024 from six aspects: Party building leadership, strategic capability enhancement, market development, innovation-driven development, operation and management, and risk prevention. The report also deeply analyzed the opportunities and challenges facing the company's development, and clearly put forward the overall work ideas and objectives for 2025. In 2025, Far East Communications will continue to deepen its strategic thinking, focusing on "stabilizing scale, optimizing structure, improving capabilities, enhancing efficiency, and increasing benefits," to steadily carry out various tasks and promote the company's sustainable and healthy development.
 

Over the past year, a number of outstanding collectives and individuals have emerged in various positions at Far East Communications, making significant contributions to the company's development. Sixty collectives and individuals were commended at the meeting, and awards were presented to the recipients of the company's "Excellent Elite" and "Rising Star" awards.

At the meeting, senior leaders such as Zhou Zhongguo affirmed the work of Far East Communications in 2024 and also put forward development suggestions for 2025. They urged Far East Communications to continue to deeply study and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the second and third plenary sessions of the 20th Central Committee, earnestly implement the decisions and deployments of higher-level units, accelerate strategic transformation, strengthen internal coordination, enhance compliance awareness, continuously improve operational management and risk prevention and control levels, continuously promote high-quality development, and deliver a satisfactory answer to the company's 30th anniversary.
