All-round, multi-scenario | Far East Communications safeguards Hebei earthquake emergency rescue skills competition

From October 15th to 16th, hosted by the Hebei Provincial Earthquake Relief Command Office, and organized by the Provincial Emergency Management Department, the Provincial Fire and Rescue Corps, and the Zhangjiakou Municipal Earthquake Relief Command Office, Hebei Province's 2024 Earthquake and Geological Disaster Emergency Rescue Skills Competition was held in Zhangjiakou. Far East Communications, as a technical support unit, provided comprehensive support services to ensure the smooth progress of the competition.
A total of 14 teams and over 170 officers and soldiers from various cities and prefectures across the province and Xiong'an New Area participated in this competition. Three subjects were set: emergency communication command, earthquake disaster rescue, and geological disaster rescue. This is also the first provincial-level earthquake and geological disaster emergency rescue skills competition held by the Hebei Provincial Emergency System since its establishment.
Among them, the communication equipment involved in the emergency communication command competition was all provided by Far East Communications. The competition used on-site scenario simulation, focusing on the entire process of information collection, network transmission, command and dispatch, and decision feedback. Through the comprehensive application of mobile communication emergency communication vehicles, drones, satellite portable stations, portable command boxes, 370MHz PDT cluster portable stations, and Beidou satellite phones and other advanced equipment, a three-dimensional emergency command and communication system integrating air, space, and ground was built. This achieved on-site information collection, remote satellite channel transmission, and front-and-rear collaborative command in all scenarios, effectively testing the practical ability of each participating team to build an "emergency rescue lifeline" and accumulating valuable experience for emergency rescue operations.
This competition verified the reliability and practical applicability of Far East Communications' emergency communication equipment and demonstrated the outstanding performance of Far East Communications in terms of technical strength and service level. In the future, Far East Communications will be user-needs oriented, conduct in-depth research on the pain points and difficulties of emergency rescue, launch more products and solutions that meet the needs of emergency rescue scenarios, and make greater contributions to the modernization of emergency management.
