At the Maquanying Station communication room of Beijing Subway Line 15, which recently completed a cutover of its dedicated wireless communication system, engineers responsible for communication maintenance spoke highly of Far East Communication's Tetra equipment.

Beijing Subway Line 15 Opened in 2010, it is an important channel connecting Shunyi New Town and the central area of Beijing. The original imported Tetra equipment has been in operation for 13 years and is facing problems such as discontinued core components, long and difficult maintenance cycles, and high costs. Any malfunction would affect the safe operation of trains. Far East Communication developed a professional renovation plan to address these issues, meticulously planning and scientifically organizing the project, Without affecting the normal operation of the line, it successfully completed the one-time cutover of all 22 stations, achieving complete replacement of imported equipment with domestically produced Tetra equipment.

The Far East Communication Tetra equipment used in this Line 15 renovation project features completely independent and controllable technology and can be customized according to user requirements. It also supports a fully Chinese-language operating interface, fewer devices, and a better network structure, making operation more convenient and maintenance simpler. To date, the Tetra equipment after the cutover has performed stably with zero failures.
