Recently, Henan Province experienced a major flood, causing communication disruptions in some areas and significantly impacting rescue efforts. On July 21, the Ministry of Emergency Management urgently dispatched a Wing Loong drone for long-distance cross-regional flights to provide public and dedicated network wireless communication signal coverage to the disaster area. The Far East Communications 370MHz PDT cluster airborne base station (hereinafter referred to as "PDT airborne base station") mounted on the Wing Loong drone provided dedicated network communication services, enabling intercommunication between rescue personnel on-site and between the site and higher-level emergency departments.

On the afternoon of July 22, Far East Communications received an urgent notice from the Ministry of Emergency Management, requesting full technical support for the PDT airborne base station mounted on the Wing Loong drone. As the construction unit of the Ministry of Emergency Management's wireless communication network, Far East Communications immediately activated its emergency plan, dispatching professional technicians in two teams to the scene. One team rushed to Anshun, Guizhou overnight to quickly complete the functional debugging of the Wing Loong drone's PDT airborne base station for its flight to Henan; the other team went to the Ministry of Emergency Management in Beijing to provide backend service support for the 370MHz emergency command narrowband wireless communication network system for the entire Wing Loong drone flight. Despite difficulties, both teams bravely took on the heavy responsibility, using their expertise to fully support the deployment and operation of the Wing Loong drone's airborne emergency communication platform, ensuring dedicated network communication coverage in the affected areas and meeting the actual needs of rescue personnel for command and dispatch and information transmission.

In this mission, the PDT cluster airborne base station provided by Far East Communications achieved 370MHz PDT cluster communication network coverage with a radius of 70 kilometers and an area of 15,000 square kilometers, providing strong support for the smooth progress of rescue operations. Currently, technical support for the Wing Loong drone PDT airborne base station is still underway in an orderly manner. Far East Communications will continue to cooperate with emergency management departments at all levels to carry out follow-up work, standing with the people of Henan through thick and thin!
